Elisabeth, a native of Sweden who has called Penticton home for the past 30 years, was a valued member of the Enamel Dental team until her retirement in January 2023. With a career spanning almost three decades, Elisabeth made a significant impact as a Dental Hygienist at Enamel Dental Centre.
Having graduated from the University of Alberta in 1979, Elisabeth found her calling in dentistry due to its absence of night shifts – a perfect fit for her love of sleep! Joining Enamel Dental in 1994, she dedicated herself to providing exceptional care to her patients. Over the years, Elisabeth formed strong bonds with many of her patients, cherishing the opportunity to get to know them personally.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Elisabeth can be found on her family’s cattle ranch raising grass-fed highland beef alongside her family.
Though Elisabeth has embarked on a new chapter of her life in retirement, her impact at Enamel Dental remains significant. Her dedication to patient care, genuine connections with individuals, and her commitment to dental health will be remembered and appreciated by both her colleagues and the patients she served for so many years.
Elisabeth’s #1 advice for her patients

Joanne, originally from Gatineau, Quebec, but a resident of Penticton since 1986, made a lasting impact on the Enamel Dental team in Penticton until her retirement in 2021. Having graduated from Cité Collégiale as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Joanne initially harbored childhood dreams of becoming a social worker, dancer, or even a talk show host! However, her personal experiences with dentistry as a child shaped her path, instilling in her a desire to care for others while providing a more positive and compassionate dental experience.
Joining the Enamel Dental team in 1993, Joanne dedicated herself to her role. Throughout her career, she nurtured a deep sense of care and empathy towards her patients, striving to make their dental visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Her extensive experience as a dental hygienist allowed her to deliver exceptional care and build lasting relationships with those she served.
Outside the office, Joanne enjoyed making special memories with her hubby and beloved dog, Kooper. Her passions also lie in fitness, and teaching Pilates and dance!

A born and raised Penticton local, Jessie has made a significant impact as a valued member of the Enamel Dental Centre team for the past 15 years. Having recently made the decision to pursue her nursing degree, Jessie will be returning to University in September 2023. Her departure from Enamel Dental is bittersweet, as her dedication will be missed.
Jessie’s journey in the dental field began when she joined Enamel Dental in Penticton following her practicum with the Okanagan College Certified Dental Assistant Program in 2008. Raised in a family of nurses, Jessie always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. Her mother’s suggestion to explore dentistry, turned out to be a perfect fit for her passion and skills! Throughout her career, Jessie fostered a deep connection with her “work family” at Enamel Dental, enjoying the close-knit dynamics of the team.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Jessie is a busy mom of three kids! She loves watching her kids in their activities, getting out in the sunshine, and clearing her head with a spin class (when possible!).
The most influential person in Jessie’s life
“My Grandmother. She was smart, classy, hardworking, kind, and had a great sense of humour”
